DEMITASSE NEW RECORD, POWERCOUPLE, COMING SOON!
Demitasse, Buttercup side project of Joe Reyes and Erik Sanden, is branching out big-time with a new 11 song record to be released Sept 29 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in San Antonio, Texas. The record itself is a departure towards a fuller sound. Called "Powercouple," the album is full of dark humor and a lighter tone. It veers at times into almost rock and roll territory. It will be released by Bedlamb Records.
Demitasse traditionally has a hyper-minimal setup: two acoustic guitars and two voices, but for this big party at the Tobin will feature a full band, including Odie! The show at the Tobin promises to be one of our most epic shows yet. Get your tickets starting June 18 at www.tobincenter.org
